Help
Signing in & installing the app.
Save Your Days has no passwords. You sign in with a one-time link we email to you. The whole site also works as a phone app — same login, same data, just a nicer experience day-to-day. Here's how both pieces work.
Signing in
- Go to saveyourdays.com/login.
- Type the email address you signed up with and tap Send sign-in link.
- Open the email from us (subject line: Your Save Your Days sign-in link) and tap the button inside.
- That's it — you're in. The link is good for 15 minutes and only works once.
If the email doesn't show up in a minute or two, check your spam folder. If the link says it's expired or already used, just request a new one from the login page.
Installing it on your phone
Save Your Days is a Progressive Web App, which is a long way of saying you can add it to your home screen and it'll behave like a regular app — full screen, its own icon, no browser bar. There's nothing to download from an app store.
Important: sign in first. The install option only appears once
you're inside the journal (any page that starts with /app/). If you
try to install from the marketing pages, your phone won't offer it.
iPhone & iPad (iOS / iPadOS)
You have to use Safari for this — Chrome and Firefox on iPhone can't install web apps. It's an Apple thing.
- Open Safari and sign in to your account.
- Once you're on the journal page, tap the Share button at the bottom (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Confirm the name (Save Your Days) and tap Add.
The icon will appear on your home screen. Tap it to open the journal in its own window — no Safari toolbar, no tabs.
Android
Chrome works best. Most other Android browsers (Edge, Brave, Samsung Internet) work too, with slight wording differences.
- Open Chrome and sign in to your account.
- Once you're on the journal page, you may see a small banner at the bottom that says Install app — tap it and you're done.
- If you don't see the banner, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Tap Install app (or Add to Home screen on some versions of Chrome).
- Confirm and the app will appear in your app drawer and home screen.
Once installed, opening it from your home screen launches it full screen, just like an app from the Play Store.
Staying signed in
After your first magic-link sign-in, your phone keeps you signed in for a long time — you shouldn't have to repeat the email step every day. If you do get signed out (it happens occasionally, especially after you clear your browser data), just request a new link.
